✦ A note from the founder
I started Matrimilan because the two options I watched my friends use both felt wrong, in different ways. Swiping apps were too anonymous and too gamified. The legacy matrimony sites were padded with fake profiles and felt like a job. Neither was built for people who actually wanted to get married.
We built a third thing: the agency of choosing your own partner, with the seriousness of family involvement, and a verification process strict enough that you only ever meet real people.
Most of what we do is invisible. The careful work — the verification, the curation, the privacy — happens before you see it. When it works, you stop using us, and you tell your friends.
